Designated Coordinator/House Supervisor

LOCATION: DULUTH, MN

TBI Residential and Community Services provides community and residential based support to adults who have complex physical and emotional needs. We work together to help individuals restore their cognitive and motor skills and improve their independent living skills with a focus on rehabilitation and community integration.

Designated Coordinator/House Supervisor - Job Description: The Designated Coordinator/House Supervisor manages all aspects of one of our Adult Foster Care residential facilities. The Designated Coordinator reports to the residential facility’s corresponding Program Manager, and members of the administrative team.

Designated Coordinator/House Supervisor - Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Caring for clients and their day to day needs
  • Maintain a safe living and working environment for both clients and staff
  • Oversee Assistant House Supervisor, Direct Support Specialists (DSS), and Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
  • Communicate with client support team members
  • Manage support service case files
  • Develop and report on service support plans
  • Lead team meetings with house staff members
  • Create schedules for staff members in the team
  • Maintain professional boundaries with both clients and staff


Designated Coordinator/House Supervisor – Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older 
  • Must possess a four-year degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or
  • A two-year degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or
  • A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post-secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or
  • Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses (1) to (3).
  • Must pass criminal history check as specified by licensing agencies.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company driving standards.
