Lead Direct Support Professional


JOB TITLE: Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Current Openings:

Tier 1- $12.21 per hour (Entry-level lead position)
Tier 2- $16.00 per hour (Min. one year of experience in the field)
Tier 3- $17.00 per hour (Min. two years’ of experience in the field)

JOB SUMMARY: The Lead Direct Support Professional provides leadership and direction for direct support
professionals and ensures the overall quality of care for all individuals in the program

• Mastering and performing all duties of a direct support professional
• Training new employees on the standard of care within compliance of TBI policy and state regulations
• Modeling and ensuring DSPs provide high-quality service provision while on shift
• Providing on-site correction to DSPs and feedback to direct supervisor.
• Collecting and entering data to provide accurate reports to Designated Coordinator and other support
team members
• Ensuring DSPs are documenting properly and timely including incident reporting
• Completing documentation audits to ensure compliance in the areas of safety, transportation, master files,
daily documentation
• Communicating effectively and professionally with internal and external team members
• Presenting in team meetings regarding team functioning and quality of care
• Other duties as assigned
